Privacy notice
AnonFund is built so that there is almost nothing to collect. This notice explains what that means in practice.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, sign-ups, emails or passwords.
- No server-side logs of wallet addresses, transactions or claim codes. The site is a static client; the only backend is the optional campaign-profile service described below.
- No analytics, tracking pixels or advertising identifiers.
- No cookies, other than what your wallet software may set for its own operation.
What is stored in your browser
- Theme preference (
localStorage). Light or dark. - Wallet connection state, managed by the wallet library so you stay connected between visits. You can clear it by disconnecting.
Claim codes are generated in your browser and shown to you once. They are not stored by the site; if you do not save them, they are gone.
Campaign profiles (optional)
Creators may attach a logo and links (website, X, Telegram, Discord, GitHub) to a campaign. This data is stored on our server rather than on-chain, together with the campaign id, the creator wallet address that signed the update and a timestamp. It is public by design — it is shown on the campaign page — and is retained until the creator replaces or removes it. No other request to the site writes to that database; reads are not logged beyond the hosting provider's standard, short-lived request logs.
What is public
Everything you send to the blockchain is public and permanent: the wallet that creates a campaign, campaign text, donations (sender, amount, time) and claims (amount, campaign — but not the recipient). Do not put personal data in campaign titles or descriptions.
Third parties your browser talks to
- RPC provider. Reading campaigns and sending transactions goes through a public BNB Chain RPC endpoint (or the one configured in your wallet). That provider sees your IP address and the requests you make.
- WalletConnect. If you connect through WalletConnect, its relay transports encrypted messages between the site and your wallet app according to its own privacy policy.
- Hosting and fonts. Static files are served from our CDN; fonts are self-hosted with the site.
Your choices
Use a VPN or Tor to hide your IP from the RPC provider. Use a wallet that lets you choose your own RPC. Use dedicated wallets for donating and collecting. See the donor privacy guide.
